Barbara R. ‘Ginger’ Lynch

No service is planned for Barbara R. “Ginger” Lynch, 74, Overbrook.
Mrs. Lynch died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 19, 1934, in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Ollie Austin “Choc” and Margie Ailyne “Layne” Rider.
She married Clarence “Tod” Lynch on Aug. 31, 1968. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Alan Lynch, Reno, Nev., and Daniel Lynch and wife Mindy, Vienna, W.Va.; three daughters, Brenda Gammill and husband Rick, Lawrence, Traci Pesenti, Sacramento, Calif., and Dawn Scott and husband Kevin, Auburn, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers, Larry Rider and wife Lola, Oak Grove, Mo., Dennis Rider and wife Cindy, Climax Springs, Mo., O.A. “Tex” Rider Jr., Bonner Springs, Arnold “Dusty” Rider, Bates City, Mo., and Wade Rider and wife Kim, Alabaster, Ala.; and two sisters, Maelyne Duncan, Billings, Mont., and Judy Gilliland and husband Gary, Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Janis Layne; and two brothers, Wendell and Tuck Rider.
The family suggests memorials to the Palliative Care Unit at LMH or Douglas County Visiting Nurses, Rehabilitation and Hospice Care.
