Patricia Ann Doemland 1932 - 2009 Lawrence
A celebration of life for Patricia Ann Doemland, 76, Lawrence, will be 1 p.m. May 2 at the Adams Alumni Center in Lawrence. Private family inurnment will be at a later date in Pioneer Cemetery on the Kansas University campus.
She died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Harbor House Memory Care in Lawrence.
She was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Phoenix, the daughter of Charles Owen and Elizabeth Marie Stephens Long.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Unitarian Fellowship of Lawrence for 39 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from KU.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Doemland, Corpus Christi, Texas, Charles Doemland, Lawrence, and David Doemland, Emporia; two daughters, Liz Rombach, Lawrence, and Lori Doemland-Smith, Tempe, Ariz.; a brother, Charles Long; a sister, Bette Roberson; and 11 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Lawrence Arts Center, sent in care of the Lawrence Funeral Chapel.
