Sandra Jean Bell 1947 - 2009 Kansas City, Kan.
Funeral services for Sandra Jean “Sandy” Bell, 62, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. Bell died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Feb. 21, 1947, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Glenn Ancel and Dorothy Mae Miller Rader. She graduated from Linwood High School in 1964 and attended Emporia State University.
Mrs. Bell worked for several financial institutions before beginning work in the clerical department at Metro Park Warehouses in 1985. She retired in 2007.
She married Marion “Burt” Bell on Feb. 3, 1970, in Miami, Okla. He died Sept. 19, 1996.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carmen Bell, on Nov. 16, 1987.
Survivors include a daughter, Crystal O’Brien, Lawrence; three sisters, Joyce Stemmerman, Lawrence, Judy Mallory, Austin, Texas, and Susan Ritter, Gladstone, Mo.; a brother, Bill Rader, Sedalia, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
