Marjorie Louise Freeman 1936 - 2008 Tonganoxie
Graveside services for Marjorie Louise Freeman, 72, Tonganoxie, will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Hubbel Hill Cemetery in Tonganoxie. Mrs. Freeman died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.She was born Jan. 6, 1936, in Lawrence, the daughter of Elza and Doris Smith Marvin. Mrs. Freeman worked as a seamstress and was a member of First Congregational Church in Tonganoxie.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Dale Freeman, and a daughter, Joice Freeman.Survivors include three sons, Cecil, Edwardsville; Dale, Hertford, N.C., and Clifford, Seaside, Ore.; a stepdaughter, Nancy Drake, Wichita, a brother, Clarence Marvin, San Antonio; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie.
