John William Ferguson 1938 - 2008 Cassville, Mo.
Funeral services for John William Ferguson, 70, Cassville, will be at 11 a.m. today at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Eudora City Cemetery in Eudora, Kan.Mr. Ferguson died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at his home.He was born March 21, 1938, in Greensboro, N.C., the son of John Hurley Hampton and Virginia Dare Langley Ferguson. He attended school in Liberty, N.C. He moved to Cassville In 1976.Mr. Ferguson served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1962 aboard the USS Kearsarge. He was owner and partner of J&J Rebuilders in Cassville since 1985.He married Lou Brewer on May 15, 1965. She survives, of the home. Other survivors include his mother, Virginia Ferguson, High Point, N.C.; a son, John William Ferguson Jr.; a daughter, Charlea Dair Milner, Independence, Mo.; a sister, Joan Clark, High Point, N.C.; and three grandchildren.Online condolences may be sent at fohnfuneralhome.com.
