Elliott Ray Kingsolver

Graveside services for Elliott Ray Kingsolver, 70, McLouth, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fowler Cemetery, north of McLouth.Mr. Kingsolver, formerly of Kansas City, Kan., died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at his home.He was born Sept. 4, 1938, in Colorado Springs, Colo., the son of Wilbur “Gerald” and Helen Elliott Kingsolver. He had lived in Kansas City and McLouth areas for many years. Mr. Kingsolver worked as a line supervisor at Owens Corning Fiberglass in Kansas City, retiring after 37 years of service. He owned and operated E.R. Trucking Company for many years and also operated a milk delivery route.He married Shirley Faye Hedgepath on Sept. 13, 1958, at Perry. She survives, of the home. Other survivors include a son, Randy, McLouth; a daughter, Vicki, McLouth; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sandra, Hillsdale. The family will meet friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
