LouElla Thompson 1927 - 2008 Bucklin

Funeral services for LouElla Thompson, 81, Bucklin, will be at 3 p.m. today at United Methodist Church in Bucklin. Burial will be in Bucklin Cemetery.Mrs. Thompson died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at Hospice of Salina.She was born July 29, 1927, in Holyrood, the daughter of Frank and Josephine Brejcha Doubrava. She was a resident of Bucklin since 1962.Mrs. Thompson was a retired co-owner of Ken's Sundries in Bucklin. She was a member of United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Business and Professional Women and the Site Council, all in Bucklin.She married Kenneth Thompson on May 21, 1950, in Bushton. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include a son, Bryan Thompson, Salina; three sisters, Delores Hinde, Hot Springs, Ark., Rose Small, Lyons, and Alice Malir, Wilson; and five grandchildren.Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by a son, Kevin G. Thompson; and a grandson.The family suggests memorials to the church or Hospice of Salina, sent in care of Minnis Mortuary, P.O. Box 516, Bucklin, KS 67834.
