Thomas G. Wilson 2008 - 1954 De Soto
Kansas City, Kan. - Funeral services for Thomas G. Wilson, 54, De Soto, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wyandotte County Christian Church in Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.Mr. Wilson died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008.He was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Holden, Mo., the son of Claude L. Jr. and Elaine Wilson. He was raised in Kansas City, Kan. He graduated from Washington High School in 1971. He graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College and Kansas University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business and accounting. Mr. Wilson was a partner in the accounting firm of Lowenthal, Singleton, Webb and Wilson in Lawrence. He was an active member of Wyandotte County Christian Church, where he was a former elder, deacon and treasurer. He was also a member of Lawrence Kiwanis Club. He enjoyed fishing and classic cars.Survivors include his wife, Carol A. Wilson, of the home; a son, Tommy Jr., Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Leanne Prince and husband Jeff and an expected grandchild, Overland Park, and Laurie Champ and husband Caleb, Kansas City, Mo.; his mother, Elaine Wilson, Lenexa; and a sister, Jane Gottschalk and husband Shaun, Moreno Valley, Calif.Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Porter Funeral Home in Lenexa.
