Funeral services for Helen G. Moorhead, 51, Eudora, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel. Burial will follow in Eudora Cemetery.Ms. Moorhead died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Kansas Highway 10 near Eudora.She was born June 9, 1957, in Liverpool, England, the daughter of Albert E. and Olive Ireland Nokes. She moved from Lee Summit, Mo., to Eudora in 1995.Ms. Moorhead worked as a senior representative for Vangent Inc. in Lawrence in the Federal Student Aid Information Center.Survivors include a daughter, Amy Rooney, Lawrence; two sons, Taylour and Dylan Monahan, of the home; and three grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, where the family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Monday before the services.The family suggests memorials to the Taylour & Dylan Monahan Educational Fund, sent in care of Kaw Valley State Bank, 739 Main St., Eudora, KS 66025.Online condolences may be sent at warrenmcelwain .com, subject: Moorhead.
