Billie Colleen Greenlee

Meriden — Memorial services for Billie Colleen Greenlee, 70, of Topeka, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Meriden Chapel in Meriden. Cremation is planned, and inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka at a later date. Ms. Greenlee died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, at Stormont-Vail in Topeka after a long illness. She was born Nov. 16, 1938, in Parsons, the daughter of Albert C. and Elsie Mae Russell Chapman. She was a 1956 graduate of Parsons High School and attended Clark’s School of Business in Topeka.She had lived in Topeka 43 years. She worked at the Kansas State Department of Revenue in Topeka for 30 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Kansas Prairie Pickers Association. Survivors include one son, Rick P. Greenlee and wife, Janice, Topeka; two daughters, Tracy Greenlee-Emery and husband Rory, Meriden, Jolleen G. Thorpe and husband, Dave, Topeka; one brother, Jim Chapman, Leavenworth; one sister, Pat Chapman, Lawrence; and seven grandchildren, Justin P. Greenlee, Zachary S. Greenlee, Phillip Greenlee, Justin Emery, Shawn Emery, Jody Emery and Wyeth Lagarde.
