Doris Ann Rosenberger

Ottawa – Visitation services for Doris Ann Rosenberger, 69, Ottawa, will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa.Ms. Rosenberger died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at Olathe Medical Center.She was born May 13, 1939, in Pettis County, the daughter of Edward and Lillian Moore. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kan., in the late 1950s. She lived in Baldwin City for 15 years and in Ottawa for the past three years.Ms. Rosenberger was a cosmetologist in the Lawrence area in the 1980s and 1990s. She previously worked as a health care provider for nursing homes in the 1960s, She was a member of Baldwin City Assembly of God Church.She married Bertie Black. He died in 1970. She married Tom Evans in 1976. He also preceded her in death. She married Bob Rosenberger in 1982. They divorced.Survivors include four sons, Vernon Black, Ottawa, Stan Black, Leavenworth, Galen Black, Vassar, Tom Evans, Lawrence; two adopted daughters, Wanda Brannan, Ottawa, and Della Luttrell, Ottawa; six grandchildren; and many adopted grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the Doris Rosenberger Memorial Fund, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S.
