Graveside services for Lucy E. Messenger, 74, Tonganoxie, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Muncie Cemetery Chapel in Leavenworth.Ms. Messenger died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center.She was born June 2, 1933, in Dodge City, the daughter of Albert and Lucy Hudson Messenger. She was a cook and raised cattle on the family farm.Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie is in charge of arrangements.
