Clifford Dean Price

A gathering of friends for Clifford Dean Price, 79, Pharr, will be at 5 p.m. Monday at the Recreation Hall at Winter Haven in Pharr with memorial services to follow at 6 p.m. Monday.Mr. Price died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at his home.He was born June 7, 1928, in Dodge City, Kan. He lived in Lawrence, Kan., for many years and moved in 1996 to Pharr, where he resided at Winter Haven. Mr. Price served in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army Reserve. He retired in Lawrence in 1993. He was a member of the Lawrence Jaycees.Survivors include his wife, Clara, of the home; three sons, Mike and wife Karen, St. Louis, Mack and wife Kirsten, and Kirby and wife Pam, of Lawrence; a daughter, Bonnie Beauchamp and husband Bill, Georgetown, Texas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to IPH Hospice Care, Inc., 1100 East Jasmine Ave., Suite 203, McAllen, TX 78501.Skinner Silva Funeral Home in Pharr is in charge of arrangements.
