Phillip Martin Collins 1963 - 2008 Lawrence
Graveside services for Phillip Martin Collins, 44, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Collins died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at his home.He was born June 1, 1963, in Lawrence, the son of Ira "Nick" and Norma Catherine Place Collins.Mr. Collins worked in construction as a painter and installed drywall.Survivors include two brothers, James and Charles, both of Lawrence; and two sisters, Lisa Collins, Lawrence, and Tracy Collins, Topeka.The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.The family suggests memorials to the Phillip Collins Memorial Fund, sent in care of the mortuary.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.warrenmcelwain.com">www.warrenmcelwain.com</a>, subject: Collins.
