Terri Lynne Valley

Memorial service for Terri Lynne Valley, 45, Leavenworth, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ninth Street Baptist Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Delmar White officiating.Miss Valley died Friday, March 14, 2008, at her home.She was born March 29, 1962, in Lawrence, the daughter of Lee Valley Sr. and Geri Green. She moved to California in 1964 and graduated from Campolindo High School in Moraga, Contra Costa Community College, San Pablo, and Heald Business College in Oakland. She returned to Kansas in 1995. Miss Valley was actively involved with the Andrew Newton American Legion Post 94 in Leavenworth.Survivors include a son, Carlton Swain; a daughter, Chandra Swain; a grandson, Torrez Buchanan Jr.; her mother, Geri Green; a sister, Michelle Valley Clardy; and two brothers, Ricky Valley and Lee “Pancho” Valley II, all of California; an adopted brother Malumba, the Netherlands; her companion, James Spencer, of the home; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church before the services.The family suggests memorials to the Joyce E.
