Judy Ann Wilcox Hill

Funeral services for Judy Ann Wilcox Hill, 68, Eudora, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Eudora City Cemetery.Mrs. Hill died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at her residence.She was born July 12, 1939, in Lawrence, the daughter of John Henry and Emma Elizabeth Trapp Frye. She attended Eudora schools.Mrs. Hill had owned and operated the Chief Lunch Cafe in Lawrence. She also had worked at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant in De Soto, and she was a homemaker.She married Ray M. Hill on March 1, 1969, in Lamar, Mo. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include three sons, Mike Wilcox, Lawrence, Ray Hill III, Montrose, Mo., and Tom Hill, Buckner, Mo.; two daughters, Laurie Heimsoth, Kansas City, Mo., and Cindy Dauge, New Haven, Mo.; a brother, Jack Frye, Neosho Falls; three sisters, Margaret Davis and Mary Jo Hadl, both of Lawrence, and Marilyn Klaasmeyer, Eudora; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.The family suggests memorial contributions to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Oncology Department, in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at www.rumsey-yost.com.
