Emilou Ware 1919 - 2008 Overbrook
Graveside services for Emilou Ware, 89, Overbrook, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Overbrook Cemetery. Miss Ware died Monday, June 16, 2008, at Brookside Nursing Home in Overbrook. She was born March 3, 1919, in Overbrook, the daughter of Charles and Blanche Vincent Ware. She lived in Overbrook most of her life but also lived in Scranton and Lawrence.Miss Ware worked for the state of Kansas in the Fiscal Department until she retired. She was a member of Topeka Eastern Star Chapter 462, Order of Eastern Star Fidelity Chapter 38 of Carbondale and Trinity Shrine 7. She was a member of Overbrook United Methodist Church. Survivors include a niece, Susan Patch, Denver; and a cousin, Margaret Shirk, Lawrence.Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon is in charge of arrangements.
