Eleanor D. “Ellie” Quinlan

Perry – Mass of Christian Burial for Eleanor D. “Ellie” Quinlan, 73, Grantville, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Perry. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Newman.Mrs. Quinlan died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008.She was born Aug. 4, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of George P. and Agnes C. Dabner Neal. She graduated from Bishop Hogan High School in Kansas City, Mo., in 1951 and attended St. Mary College in Leavenworth. Mrs. Quinlan was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Perry.She married Lawrence E. “Bud” Quinlan on Sept. 26, 1959, in Kansas City, Mo. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include three daughters, Patty Quinlan and Mary Gorden and husband Gary, all of Perry, and Anna Barrett and husband Gene, Grantville; two sons, Tom Quinlan and wife Kari, Glen Rose, Texas, and Pete Quinlan and wife Christina, Grantville; a sister, Mary Anne Saathoff and husband Dick, New Port Ritchie, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Becky, Christopher, Marie, Amanda, Annie, Paydin, Nicholas, Ella, Anna Grace, Shane, Caidon and Josiah; and five great-grandchildren, Stephen, Sean, Joshua, Tristan and Emme; and many nieces, nephews and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents.A rosary will be recited at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at the church before Mass.
