Funeral services for Mary C. Edmonds, 95, McLouth, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will follow in McLouth Cemetery.Mrs. Edmonds died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at Jefferson County Geriatrics Center in Winchester.She was born Feb. 19, 1913, in Lancaster, the daughter of John and Nettie Carson Hiebsch. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1931. She was a lifelong area resident.Mrs. Edmonds was a homemaker and worked as a clerk at Winchester Grocery Store and Winchester Hardware Store. She was member of Winchester United Methodist Church and the Edmond’s Chapel Ladies Aid Society.She married William Hall “Bill” Edmonds on June 10, 1933, in Topeka. He died Feb. 20, 2000.Survivors include two sons, Donald L. Edmonds, Oskaloosa, and Charles R. Edmonds, Winchester; two sisters, Bertha Wiley, Oskaloosa, and Lola Ross, Perry; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday before the services.The family suggests memorials to Jefferson County Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
