Leo T. West 1915 - 2008 McPherson
Mass of Christian Burial for Leo T. West, 92, McPherson, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in McPherson. Inurnment will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo.Mr. West died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, in McPherson.He was born Dec. 24, 1915, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Leonard and Mary West. He was a former resident of Lawrence and moved to McPherson in 2002.Mr. West worked as a property accountant for Hercules Inc. for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in McPherson.He married Lucille Margaret Winter on Aug. 29, 1942, in Riverside, Calif. She died Aug. 21, 2000.Survivors include a son, Michael T., McPherson; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the church or Angel Arms in McPherson, sent in care of Glidden-Ediger Funeral Home, 222 West Euclid St., McPherson, KS 67460.
