Ardith G. Rinehart

Mass of Christian Burial for Ardith G. Rinehart, 79, Topeka, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Aloysius Church in Meriden. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery.Mrs. Rinehart died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Topeka Presbyterian Manor. She was born May 14, 1928, in Frankfort, the daughter of John Eugene and Geneva Hattie Gibson Farrell. Mrs. Rinehart graduated from Frankfort High School. She worked as a production liner for Jostens American Yearbook for 20 years. She was a member of St. Aloysius Church in Meriden. She belonged to Good Sam Camping Club. She also was a member of TOPPS, VFW Auxiliary and the 96th Bomb Group Association. She married William Randall Rinehart on Sept. 28, 1946, in Seneca. He preceded her in death in 1999. Survivors include a son, Edward Rinehart, Shawnee; three daughters, Beth White, Lawrence, Randi Walters and Nancy Mergen, both of Topeka; a sister, Dorothy Kinney, Topeka; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Chapel in Meriden.The family suggests memorial contributions to Topeka Rescue Mission or Alzheimer’s Association, sent in care of the funeral home P.O.
