Isabelle Elaine Ellis
Funeral services for Isabelle Elaine Ellis, 3, Eudora, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary’s Eudora Chapel. Burial will follow in Eudora Cemetery.Isabelle died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital of heart failure while waiting for a heart transplant.She was born Feb. 4, 2005, in Topeka, the daughter of Christopher and Amanda Pio Ellis.Isabelle was a ballerina and singer. She enjoyed playing with her sister and parents, picking flowers, and making things.Survivors include her parents; a sister, Elorah; maternal grandparents, Steve and Karen Pio, both of Allen; and paternal grandparents, Ron Ellis and Barbara Milliken, both of Topeka.The family will greet friends during a celebration of Isabelle’s life from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Eudora chapel.The family suggests memorials to the Isabelle Ellis Memorial Fund, sent in care of the mortuary, or consideration of becoming an organ donor.Online condolences may be sent at warrenmcelwain.com, subject: Ellis.
