Timothy M. “Tim” Johnson II

Nortonville — Funeral services for Timothy M. “Tim” Johnson II, 25, Ozawkie, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nortonville Christian Church. Burial will be in Mount Sidney Cemetery in Linwood.Mr. Johnson died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle accident on Dec. 5 on Ferguson Road in Jefferson County.He was born Oct. 4, 1983, in Winchester, the son of Timothy M. “Mickey” and Sheila Renee Bryant Johnson. He had lived in Ozawkie for two years, moving from Oskaloosa. He also had lived in Nortonville. Mr. Johnson was a 2001 graduate of Jefferson County North High School and attended Kaw Valley Area Technical School in Topeka.He worked as a warehouseman at the Target Distribution Center in Topeka for four years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and fireworks.Survivors include a daughter, Tara Marie Johnson, of the home; his parents, Nortonville; a brother, Shawn Christopher and wife Ashley, Winchester; his maternal grandmother, Rebecca “Kaye” Bryant, Oskaloosa; his paternal grandparents, Clifton and Betty Johnson, Nortonville; a niece and nephew, Rylie and Shane Johnson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Friends may call after noon Friday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, where the family will meet them from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.The family suggests memorials to the Education Fund for Tara M.
