Topeka — No services are planned for Elizabeth M. Groh, 85, Lawrence, whose body was donated to Kansas University for study. A memorial celebration of life will be at a later date. Burial will be later in Somerset Cemetery in Miami County.Mrs. Groh died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008.She was born Jan. 19, 1923, in Paola, the daughter of Harry C. Treaster and Bessie Alice Scott. She went to school in Paola.She moved to Lawrence in 1952 to work at Marks Jewelers Inc. She worked in the finance business from 1960 to 1972. She opened the Orange Pump Antique Shop in Osawatamie in 1973, which she operated until moving back to Lawrence in 1988.Mrs. Groh was a charter member of Lawrence Pilot Club, Fidelity Shrine No. 11, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem-Douglas County, AARP Chapter 1696, Belton Historical Society and Lecompton Historical Society.She married Garner E. “Dutch” Groh on Sept. 8, 1942. He died in December 1992.She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harry J. Treaster; a sister, Florence Irene; and a grandson, Ross Michael Testa.Survivors include a daughter, Karen Lee Testa and husband Dean, Topeka; a brother, Donald E. Treaster and wife Irene, Omaha, Neb.; two grandsons, Randolph M. Testa and Russell M. Testa; a great-grandson, Timothy M. Testa; a great-granddaughter, Erica Lee Ann Testa; and a great-great-grandson, Anthony M.
