Lois Daile Bramley

Funeral services for Lois Daile Bramley, 89, Plevna, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Elliott Chapel in Hutchinson with the Rev. Nancy Proffitt presiding. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Huntsville.Mrs. Bramley died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Windsor Place in Lawrence.She was born Oct. 15, 1918, in Abbyville, the daughter of Clyde and Edna May Hodge Kitch. She graduated from Abbyville High School in 1936. She was a lifelong resident of the Abbyville and Plevna communities. Mrs. Bramley was a homemaker and farmer and worked as a cook for Plevna schools. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Reno County Farm Bureau and Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragon Century Club, and she was a 4-H Club leader.She married Harold Leslie Bramley on Aug. 4, 1937, in Hutchinson. He died June 5, 2004.Mrs. Bramley also was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Kitch and Gaylord Kitch; and two sisters, Helen Amerman and Dorothy Feese.Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Hiebert and husband John, Lawrence, and Cheryl Jones and husband Ray, Hutchinson; a sister-in-law, Maxine England, Hutchinson; four grandchildren, Eric Hiebert, Becky Ludwick, and Stephanie and Denise Norquist; and three great-granddaughters, Natalie, Kate and Mallory Hiebert.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary in Hutchinson.The family suggests memorials to Fairview United Methodist Church or Douglas County Visiting Nurses Association, sent in care of the mortuary, 1219 N.
