Funeral services for June E. Erhart, 91, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.Mrs. Erhart died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.She was born July 6, 1916, in Larned, the daughter of Forrest and Kathryn Bauer Ruehlen. She and her husband lived in Lost Bridge Village at Beaver Lake, Ark., for 20 years before moving back to Lawrence in 2000.Mrs. Erhart was a homemaker. She was a nurse at Osteopathic Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. She and her husband owned Erhart Flying Service and Erhart Spraying Service in Larned, Lawrence, Olathe and St. Joseph, Mo. She was the bookkeeper and sewed fabric for the plane wings.She was a member of Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Lawrence. She was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed nature, caring for the elderly and visiting them in care homes.She married Delbert F. Erhart on Sept. 8, 1940, in Valley Center. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include two daughters, Sue Pine and husband Roger, Lawrence, and Cindy Pratt and husband Wayne, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son, Jon Erhart and wife Debbie, Dodge City; three brothers, Robert N. Ruehlen, Concord, N.C., Lane Ruehlen, Topeka, and Marvin L. Ruehlen, Larned; a sister, Phyllis Neidig, Larned; seven grandchildren, Shawn and Brian Pine, Derek Pratt, Katy Flosi, Chelsea Moore, Lindsay Erhart and Lori Clark; and 12 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.The family suggests memorials to Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church or Dominican Sisters of Great Bend, sent in care of the mortuary.Online condolences may be sent at www.warrenmcelwain.com, subject: Erhart.
