Archie Lewis Leffler

Archie Lewis Leffler, 95, Lawrence, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Baldwin Care Center. He was born June 18, 1912, in Gore, Mo., the son of William Edward and Elizabeth Victoria Schoenauer Leffler.Mr. Leffler served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the Seabees as a chief carpenter’s mate. He worked as a carpenter and in commercial dam renovation.He married Mildred Bernice Hodge. She survives, of the home.Other survives include a daughter, Patricia Wilcox, Redding, Calif.; a son, Michael, Anderson, Calif., and a stepdaughter, Carole Beadnell-Tucker, Lincoln, Neb.; and eight grandchildren.
