No services are planned for Ruth Irene Goins, 75, Lawrence. Cremation is planned.Mrs. Goins died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Eudora Nursing Center.She was born March 6, 1932, in Lawrence, the daughter of Earl Edward and Leota May Sutton Harris.Mrs. Goins was a homemaker and worked on the farm.She married George Goins. He died in 2006.She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Barnes.Survivors include a son, Calvin, Lawrence; a daughter, Arlene Jones, Tescott; a brother, Milton Harris, McLouth; a sister, Louise Grandstaff, Lawrence; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to The Salvation Army, 946 N.H., Lawrence, 66044.Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
