Marvin D. Robertson 1926 - 2007 Lawrence
Services for Marvin D. Robertson, 80, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home in Topeka. Burial will follow at Rock Creek Cemetery.Mr. Robertson died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.He was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Jeff and Ruth Eker Robertson. He owned JMJ Projects. He was on the board of directors of the Great Overland Station and was past president of the Kansas Motor Carriers Association. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Robertson, Lawrence; a son, Jeff Robertson, Shawnee; two daughters, Julia Prideaux, Lawrence, and Marcia Tremonti, Shawnee Mission; a sister, Ruth Ann Elvig, Houston; a brother, Jay, Lecompton; and eight grandchildren.The family will greet friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
