Ellen Gregg 1913 - 2007 Lawrence
No public services are planned for Ellen Gregg, 94, Lawrence. Private inurnment will be at a later date.Mrs. Gregg died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born May 13, 1913, in Lyons, Okla., the daughter of Henry B. and Cora Snow Mills. She lived in Wichita for many years before she moved to Lawrence in 2004.Mrs. Gregg was a retired secretary for the Coleman Company in Wichita. She married James Edward Gregg on June 25, 1936, in Wichita. He died April 25, 1990. Survivors include a niece whom she raised as a child, Linda Lester and husband Robert, Lawrence; a great-niece, Cyndy Peters and husband Ken; two great-nephews; Hugh David Lester and wife Ellyn and Eugene Lester; and six great-great-nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Association, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
