Charles Russell Hartman

Memorial services for Charles Russell Hartman, 62, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be at a later date.Mr. Hartman died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.He was born Nov. 27, 1944, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Harry and Katherine Fuchs Hartman. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1962.Mr. Hartman served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a design engineer specializing in mechanical and heavy equipment. He was a member of MENSA, the Lawrence All British Car Club and M.A.D.D. Men.He married Ingrid Ricketts on Dec. 23, 1969, in Olathe. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include a daughter, Holli Hartman, Washington, D.C.; a son Matthew and wife Amy, Los Angeles; his mother, Katherine Hartman, Overland Park; a brother, Jeffery, Overland Park; and two sisters, Carolyn Addington, Overland Park, and Janet Peters, Kansas City, Mo.The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.The family suggests memorials to the Charles R.
