Elmer Dean “Bud” Moore

McLouth – A celebration of life and Masonic services for Elmer Dean “Bud” Moore, 84, McLouth, will be at 7 p.m. Friday at his home, 402 S. Olive St., in McLouth.Mr. Moore died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at his home.He was born Oct. 20, 1922, in Elkhart, the son of Lawrence and Christine Meyer Moore.Mr. Moore served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a veteran of World War II. He was a third-generation carpenter and builder.He married Frances Graham on Jan. 15, 1948. She died Dec. 12, 2006.Survivors include three sons, Robert, of Johnson, James, McLouth, and Larry, Oskaloosa; a daughter, Janeice Smoots, Emporia; a brother, William, McLouth; three sisters, Mildred Hausner, Mamie Moore and Ruth Butler, all of McLouth; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the services at the home.The family suggests memorials to Jefferson County Hospice or the American Heart Association, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O.
