Ottawa – Services for Steven L. Lewis, 43, Ottawa, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Ottawa. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Ottawa.Mr. Lewis died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in St. Joseph, Mo., after a vehicle accident.He was born Oct. 12, 1963, in Ottawa, the son of Wendell and Thelma Grimes Lewis. He graduated from Ottawa High School in 1982. He attended architect school and completed truck driving school in Kansas City, Mo. He lived in Ottawa most of his life.Mr. Lewis worked for Cain Trucking for two years and Conway Trucking for two and a half years. He was currently employed by FedEx Trucking in Kansas City, Kan. He was a member of Bethany Chapel Baptist Church in Ottawa before joining Mount Sinai Family Worship Center in Ottawa, where he was recently licensed to preach. He married Lynnette Johnson on May 13, 1989. They divorced.Survivors include his parents, Ottawa; two sons, Devin and Dominick, both of Ottawa; a brother, Wendell Jr., Ottawa; two sisters, Sheila Lewis, Ottawa, and Karen Lewis, Greenwood, Ind.; and his grandmothers, Mildred Wilkes, Ottawa, and Willa Mae Grimes, Hopkinsville, Ky.Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa, where the family will receive them from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.The family suggests memorials to Lewis’ Family Fund, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S.
