Linda Eddy Howe

Funeral services for Linda Eddy Howe, 52, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Centenary United Methodist Church in North Lawrence. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka. Mrs. Howe died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at her home. She was born in Topeka, the daughter of Ronald and Celia Foster Eddy. She graduated from Seaman High School in 1971 and attended Washburn University.Mrs. Howe was a homemaker. She worked for the Department of Defense at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base for eight years. She later worked as a Mary Kay consultant. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and was active in United Methodist Women’s group. She was a member of the Lawrence African Violets Society and Free State High Booster Club.She married Lee D. Howe on Aug. 22, 1981. He survives, of the home. Other survivors include a son, David B. Howe, Lawrence; a daughter; Elizabeth Howe, Lawrence; her parents, Ronald and Celia Eddy, Topeka; and two brothers, Steve Eddy, Topeka, and Marty Eddy, Plattsburg, Mo.
