John Andrew "Butch" Harms III 1948 - 2007 Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Graveside services for John Andrew "Butch" Harms III, 58, Port St. Lucie, Fla., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant View Cemetery in Oskaloosa. The casket will remain closed. Mr. Harms died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at West Palm Beach V.A. Medical Center in Florida.He was born Aug. 27, 1948, in Norfolk, Va., the son of John Andrew and Ruth Virginia McCormick Harms. He graduated from Miami High School in 1966. He lived in Florida and St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, all his life.Mr. Harms served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. He worked at his family's Lagoon Marina at Red Rock in the Virgin Islands until the early 1990s.Survivors include a companion, Kay Hilton, Port St. Lucie; and two sisters, Erva Robbins, Oskaloosa, and Carol Westberry, Chesapeake, Va.Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa is in charge of arrangements.
