William "Bill" R. George 1951 - 2007 McLouth
McLouth - Funeral services for William "Bill" R. George, 55, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in McLouth.Mr. George died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, of injuries received in an automobile accident north of Perry on Ferguson Road in Jefferson County.He was born June 16, 1951, in Leavenworth, the son of Oliver William and Shirley Jeanne Shoemaker George. He graduated from McLouth High School in 1969. He lived in Ozawkie since 1985.Mr. George worked as a tire builder for the Goodyear Co. in Topeka since 2000. He was a member of First Baptist Church in McLouth.Survivors include his father, McLouth; and a sister, Orpha Lynn Lindahl, Tappahannock, Va.Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, where the family will receive them from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa, 66066.
