Richard Dewayne O'Keefe 1967 - 2007 Perry
Graveside services for Richard Dewayne O'Keefe, 39, Perry, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. O'Keefe died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka. He was born Aug. 25, 1967, in San Francisco, the son of Donald O'Keefe and Sharon Raybern. He grew up and attended schools in Lawrence.Mr. O'Keefe was a drywall subcontractor and worked with B & B Drywall in Belton, Mo., for many years.He married Leslie Rachelle Elkins on Oct. 14, 2005, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home Other survivors include four sons, Sabastian Lee, Eudora, Jashua O'Keefe, Shawnee Mission, and Austin Bonham-O'Keefe and Jesse O'Keefe, both of Perry; three daughters, Skylar and Jaimee O'Keefe, both of Shawnee Mission, and Tiffany O'Keefe, Perry.Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive them from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.The family suggests memorials to the O'Keefe Children Educational Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
