Roxie M. Keim 1922 - 2007 Topeka
Funeral services for Roxie M. Keim, 85, Topeka, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crestview United Methodist Church, Topeka. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.Mrs. Keim died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Plaza West Regional Health Center.She was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Chapman, the daughter of Edward and Grace Campbell Sherraden. She was reared in Dickinson County, attended Fairview Grade School and graduated from Chapman High School. She moved to Topeka in 1950.Mrs. Keim worked for the city of Topeka and Shawnee County Refuse Department for 29 years until she retired in February 1986.She married Donnis A. Keim on Jan. 13, 1939, in Chapman. He died Sept. 4, 1997.Survivors include a son, Jack D. Keim and wife Karen, Lawrence; two sisters, Winfred V. Greenlee, Kansas City, Mo., and Jean I. Hoover, Abilene; two grandchildren, Marc Keim and Jaquel Keim; and a great-granddaughter, Jorianne.Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel in Topeka.
