Ethel Naomi McGreevy 1923 - 2007 Perry

Mass of Christian burial for Ethel Naomi McGreevy, 83, Perry, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. McGreevy died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.She was born Dec. 17, 1923, in Marysville, the daughter of Harry Lee and Naomi Haines Neville. She lived in Lawrence for more than 40 years.Mrs. McGreevy worked as a presser and supervisor at Scotch Fabric Care and retired in 1988.She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary.She married Francis McGreevy on June 8, 1948, in Seneca. He died Feb. 11, 2001.She also was preceded in death by two sisters.Survivors include a daughter, Connie Harrod and husband John, Perry; two brothers, Patrick Stutsman and James Stutsman, both of California; a sister, Rozetta Russell, Topeka; and two grandchildren, Cori Harrod and Bryan Harrod.
