Robert “Bob” Miller

Lyndon – Funeral services for Robert “Bob” Miller, 82, Topeka, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Burial will be in Osage City Cemetery.Mr. Miller died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at a Topeka care facility.He was born Jan. 16, 1925, near Vassar, the son of Otto and Anna Loosbroek Miller. He lived most of his life in the Vassar and Lyndon communities.Mr. Miller was a farmer and drove a school bus in the Vassar and Lyndon communities. He was a member of Vassar United Methodist Church.He married Lois June Evans on Jan. 2, 1949, in Osage City. He died Sept. 23, 1956. He married Ruth Maxine Brecheisen on Dec. 27, 1957, in Vassar. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include three daughters, Dixie Dunlap, Topeka, Peggy Ann Miller and husband Stephen Scott, Lenexa, and Terry Lou Kramer and husband Chuck, Lawrence; a brother, Leo, Topeka; four grandchildren, Jill Armstrong and Jennifer, Ben and Melissa Kramer; three great-grandchildren; Maggie, Hillary and Blake Armstrong; and many nieces and nephews.Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of the donor’s choice, sent in care of the funeral home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, 66451.
