Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanine Susan Blanck, 65, Perry, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Topeka. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Lawrence.Mrs. Blanck died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at her home in Perry.She was born Oct. 10, 1941, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Edward and Catherine Elmer Curtis.Mrs. Blanck was a supporter of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property for 17 years. She worked for six years on the group’s America Needs Fatima campaign.She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Topeka.She married Gary Blanck in November 1959 in Tonganoxie. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include two daughters, Tina Allen, Olathe, and Hiedi Romero, Lawrence; three sons, Anthony Blanck, Shawnee, Bryan Blanck, Topeka, and Michael Blanck, Lawrence; one brother, Michael Curtis, Burlington; three sisters, Barbara Kramer, Tonganoxie, Carol Hagen, Eudora, and Mitzie Gimblet, Lawrence; and 13 grandchildren. A daughter, Susan Blanck, died earlier.A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Tuesday with visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
