Wilma Moler Creamer

Family memorial services for Wilma Moler Creamer, 85, Lawrence, will be at a later date.Mrs. Creamer died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at the home of her son Mark.She was born Oct. 22, 1921, in Rosewood, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Ethel Murphy Moler.She graduated from Rosewood High School and Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio, with magna cum laude honors. She later received a master’s degree in counseling. Mrs. Creamer taught English in Glassboro, N.J., for 20 years and was an administrator at a community college before she retired.She served eight years as president of Lake Shores Condominiums in Daytona Beach Shores, Fla., where she organized a library. She wrote “Why I love this city,” an essay about Daytona Beach Springs, and won second place in a citywide contest. She also wrote a book of her memories of the Shores Club. She recently moved to Lawrence from Daytona Beach Shores.Her husband, Richard, died in 2003 after 62 years of marriage. Survivors include two sons, Mark, Lawrence, and Todd and wife Denise, Cupertino, Calif.; a sister, Fran and husband Hugh, Port Orange, Fla.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dick, Dale and Floyd; and a sister, Polly.Warren-McElwain Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.
