Anna M. Linsea Hendrix 1940 - 2007 Ottawa
Ottawa - Memorial services for Anna Mae Linsea Hendrix, 66, Ottawa, will be scheduled by the family at a later date. She donated her body to Kansas University Medical Center. Ms. Hendrix died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at her home in Ottawa. She was born Feb. 15, 1940, in Emporia, the daughter of Claude and Katherine Garrison Linsea. She grew up in Ottawa and attended Ottawa High School.Ms. Hendrix worked at Crestview Nursing Home in Ottawa as a certified nurse assistant many years. She enjoyed caring for her cats and dogs.She married Charles E. Hendrix on June 23, 1959, in Ottawa. They divorced. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Brown and husband Joseph, Wellsville; a sister, Dixie Greenwood, Madison; a stepbrother, Michael Kile, Ottawa; a stepsister, Rachel Kile, Lawrence; and a granddaughter, Amber Brown.She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Edna Louise Linsea; and a half-sister, Mary Jane Linsea.The family suggests memorials to the Bea Martin Peck Animal Shelter, sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa 66067.
