Harold Lee Peregrine

Services for Harold Lee Peregrine, 73, Tarkio, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Tarkio. Burial will be in Home Cemetery in Tarkio.He was born Sept. 7, 1933, in Holton, the son of Leemon Oscar and Ruth Jeffries Peregrine. He attended country school in Westboro, Mo., and Oregon, Mo. Mr. Peregrine was a farmer in the Rea, Whitesville, Tarkio and Westboro, Mo., areas and retired in 1980. He was a member of the Good Sam Camping Club and the Missouri Farm Bureau. He married Dorothy Maxine Moore on Aug. 13, 1951, in Forest City. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include four sons, Gerald, Westboro, Mo., Michael, Coin, Iowa, and Dennis, Westboro, Mo., and Harold Lee Peregrine Jr., St. Joseph, Mo.; three daughters, Evelyn Gardner, Shenandoah, Iowa, Marjorie Delfelder, Lawrence, Kan., and Catherine Driskell, Maryville, Mo.; two brothers, Dale, St. Joseph, and Leemon E., Roseville, Calif.; three sisters, Florence Means, Aurora, Colo., Ruth Ann Miller, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Barbara Braley, Viera, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at Davis Funeral Home in Tarkio, where a rosary will be said from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer’s Association, sent in care of the funeral home, 10th and Park St., Tarkio, MO 64491.
