Services for Albert O. Hall, 80, Eudora, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Eudora Cemetery.Mr. Hall died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at the Medicalodge in Eudora.He was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Hiattville, the son of William and Elsie Harper Hall.He worked for Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant, and then for the Frisco Railroad, before he attended carpentry school in Kansas City. He worked for Bob Still, and then Shawnee Mission Builders, before he owned and operated Albert & Son’s Construction for 41 years.He married Treavha Jones on Jan. 28, 1950, in Fort Scott. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include two daughters, Jackie Ayler, Eudora, Barbara Houtz, Grandview, Mo.; two sons, Kelly Hall, Lawrence, Darren Hall, Osawatomie; 11 grandchildren: Gretchen Herron, Trevor Ayler, Jennifer Harris, Joshua Houtz, Justin Houtz, Joel Houtz, Kenneth Baggett Hall, Matthew Hall, Andrew Hall, Stephanie Clark and Shawna Conrad; and 10 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a son, David, and four brothers.The family will greet friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel.The family suggests memorials in his name to Medicalodge, sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent to www.warrenmcelwain.com, subject: Hall.
