Galen R. Beshore

Funeral services for Galen R. Beshore, 77, Iola, will be at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Iola. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Iola.Mr. Beshore died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007.He was born Aug. 17, 1930, the son of Irvin C. and Reta B. Rapps Beshore.Mr. Beshore was a retired independent insurance agent.Survivors include his wife Opal, of the home; a son, Dr. Clay Beshore, Lawrence; a daughter, Kelly Wonsetler, El Dorado; a brother; two sisters; and seven grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
