Memorial graveside services for Dawnita Elizabeth Evans Brandon, 32, Rock Springs, Wyo., will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.Mrs. Brandon died Monday, July 30, 2007, at her home.She was born Nov. 30, 1974, in Lawrence, the daughter of Charles Curtis and Cheryl Evans. She attended Lawrence public schools and received a general educational development diploma.Mrs. Brandon worked as a driver for Terry Garvin Trucking. She previously worked as a secretary for Tesco Oil Casing Services.She married Paul Edward Nystrom on May 16, 1992, in Lawrence. They divorced in 1998. She married Timothy Paul Brandon on May 21, 2005, in Eden, Wyo.Survivors include a son, Dakota R. Nowak, Clifton, Colo.; a daughter, Faith E. Evans, Clifton, Colo.; her mother, Clifton, Colo.; three brothers, Benjamin, Richard and Matthew Johnson, all of Grand Junction, Colo.; and maternal grandparents, Clifford L. Evans Sr., Overbrook, and Barbara J. Evans, Lawrence.The family will receive friends after the services at Building 21 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds for a potluck dinner.
