Robert T. Wheeler 1969 - 2007 Lawrence
Services for Robert T. Wheeler, 37, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lawrence. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence. Mr. Wheeler died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, while on a job site in Leawood.He was born Dec. 14, 1969, in Topeka, the son of Warren Robert and Phyllis Darlene Hunt Wheeler. He attended Baker University for two years and received a Bachelor of Arts from Kansas State University. Mr. Wheeler was a landscape architect and owner of Outside Innovations in Lawrence. He previously worked for Epic Landscape Productions in Kansas City. He was raised working on a family dairy farm in McLouth. He was a member and youth leader at Redeemer Lutheran Church and Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Baker University.He married Sunny Elizabeth Willits on June 6, 1992, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home. Other survivors include a son, Luke E., of the home; a daughter, Hope Erin Wheeler, of the home; his parents, Lawrence; a brother, Russell, Lawrence; two nieces and five Nephews.He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Norris E. Wheeler.The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lawrence Funeral Chapel.The family suggests memorials to the Wheeler Children's Educational Fund, sent in care of Lawrence Funeral Chapel.
