Kansas City, Mo. – Services for James D. Wells, 87, Independence, Mo., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Kansas City, Mo. Burial will follow.Mr. Wells died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at his home.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.The family suggests memorials to the Kansas City Humane Society or Wayside Waifs, sent in care of D.W.
