Memorial Services for Donna Marie Stauffer Lantry, 73, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salina.Mrs. Lantry died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a 15-month battle with colon cancer.She was born March 13, 1934, in Salina, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Stauffer. She graduated from Salina High School and received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kansas Wesleyan in Salina. She was selected as an International Farm Youth Exchange delegate to Switzerland after graduation. She and her husband lived in Lawrence for 13 years.Mrs. Lantry taught school in Salina, Manhattan, Kan., Ann Arbor, Mich., and Warrensburg, Mo. She was an active member of Trinity Evangelical church in Ann Arbor, Mich., for 22 years and served in many educational leadership roles. She was a member of Country Cheer Garden Club in Warrensburg, Mo., affiliated with the Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri. She also volunteered with 4-H clubs, the Audio-Reader Network in Lawrence and Blue Star Memorial Marker program in Missouri.She married Bob Lantry on June 16, 1956, in Salina. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include a daughter, Joni M. Lantry-Kostich, Lincoln Park, Mich.; a son, Kendall S.
